Polished Brass Plating is done by hand polishing the metal in order to achieve a highly reflective mirror finish. A plating operation in our in-house plating line is then performed by submerging the metal into a heated electroplating tank into our brass plating solution. Once the metal has been plated, it is taken out of the tank and dried. It is then inspected for quality and undergoes a final operation where a polyurethane clear coat paint is applied which prevents oxidation and protects the finish.

Old Brass Plating is done by treating metal to a multi-level plating operation that achieves a darker finish than regular brass in our in-house plating line. The metal is submerged in a heated electroplating tank into our brass plating solution. Once the metal has been plated, it is taken out of the tank and dried. It is then inspected for quality and undergoes a final operation where a polyurethane clear coat paint is applied which prevents oxidation and protects the finish.
